Lisa

Practice Manager

Lisa began her career in dentistry in 1989 and still finds joy in every day she spends in the field. Over the years, she has completed extensive training in dental consulting and various continuing education courses. As our practice manager, Lisa plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly. She especially values the relationships she builds with patients and loves being part of their dental journeys.

Outside the office, Lisa enjoys boating, beach days, and quality time with family and friends. She’s also passionate about sports, shopping, and appreciating life’s simple pleasures. Lisa is proud to be a mom to a son and daughter who continually inspire her.

Bre

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Brienna is a Dental Hygienist with more than five years of experience in dentistry. Throughout her career, she has worked in many areas of the dental office—from the front desk and insurance coordination to dental assisting before finding her true passion in dental hygiene. Her well-rounded experience allows her to understand each patient’s visit from many different perspectives and provide thoughtful, personalized care.

Brienna takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. She is passionate about building genuine connections with her patients while providing honest, high-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Outside of the office, Brienna enjoys spending time with her family and her three beloved rescue dogs, who bring plenty of joy and inspiration to her everyday life.

Victoria "Tori"

Dental Hygienist

Tori is the newest member of our dental family, bringing over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She began her career at the front desk before becoming a dental hygienist, a role she’s enjoyed for the past two years. Known for her gentle touch and patient-focused care, she loves educating patients on good home care and takes pride in providing thorough, high-quality cleanings. Her favorite compliment is hearing, “That’s the best cleaning I’ve had in years!”

Outside the office, Tori enjoys yoga, tending to her plants, and fostering rescue dogs with her husband. Together, they share their home with three lovable pups who keep life joyful and busy.

Candace

Receptionist

Candace joined Oxley Comprehensive Dentistry in 2023 and brings both professionalism and personality to our front desk. A proud New Bern native, she graduated from New Bern High School and studied business at Craven Community College. Her love for the outdoors shines through in her daily life, often taking family strolls or exploring downtown New Bern.

Candace is a proud mom of twins—a boy and a girl—and has a wide range of interests including hiking, baking, photography, and binge-watching crime shows.

Candace is also known for her upbeat energy and warm presence, which make her an invaluable part of our team. And yes—she has a soft spot for baby cows!

Carla

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Carla is a Dental Assistant who also brings her friendly, welcoming presence to the front office. With 20 years of experience in the ENC dental community, she has a genuine passion for caring for others and helping patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. Whether she’s assisting with patient care or greeting someone at the front desk, Carla enjoys building connections with patients and helping them feel right at home.

For Carla, one of the most rewarding parts of working in dentistry is seeing patients leave feeling happy and confident in their smiles. Outside of the office, she loves spending quality time with her family, going to church, and enjoying the outdoors and the simple beauty of nature.

Faith

DENTAL PROFESSIONAL

Faith Kennedy, originally from Deep Run, brings a friendly and caring presence to the dental team. A graduate of South Lenoir High School, she enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease during every visit. Faith takes pride in caring for others and contributing to a positive, welcoming experience for every patient.

Outside of the office, Faith loves spending time with family and friends, going to church, and enjoying the outdoors. She especially enjoys trips to the beach and spending time by the water.

Aside from floss fetishists or masochists with insurance, nobody “wants” to go to the dentist. But Dr. Oxley and his staff make each visit feel like a break from life. The office is clean, warm & welcoming, the staff all have great personalities, there’s a sweetheart little pug to pet on, they have the latest dental technology (seriously cool toys) and they offer several “spa” amenities for free!! Grab an espresso, water or maybe an essential oils infused hot towel!!! Dr. Oxley is the exact opposite of the typical physician. He is genuinely personable and easy to talk to, doesn’t rush you out the door, he takes real one-on-one time, explains everything, answers all of our questions (even dumb ones) and treats you like a human, not a chart. Skilled, straightforward, and real. My wife & 3 daughters have been to a couple of prominent “big name” dentist’s in New Bern & Morehead. Dr. Oxley & crew are on a whole other level & there’s just no comparison. I will never go to another dentist in this area and cannot give Dr Oxley anything but my highest recommendation.
